1. Overview
DirectSood provides a workspace for businesses to manage eligible Instagram messages and comments, configure automation rules, collaborate with their teams, and use AI assistance based on business information they provide. This Privacy Policy explains how DirectSood handles information when you use our services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information necessary to operate DirectSood, including:
- Account and workspace information, such as names, email addresses, organization details, and user roles.
- Instagram Professional account information that you choose to connect through Meta's authorization flow, such as account identifiers and connection status.
- Eligible messages, comments, conversation metadata, and related content made available through the permissions you authorize.
- Business information you add to DirectSood, including FAQs, products, services, policies, automation rules, and team notes.
- Technical and security information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the DirectSood service for the workspace that provided or authorized it. This includes displaying and managing conversations, sending replies where permitted, running configured automations, generating AI-assisted suggestions, enabling team collaboration, providing reports, preventing abuse, and providing support.
4. Meta and Instagram information
DirectSood uses Meta's official authorization flow to connect eligible Instagram Professional accounts. We do not collect or store Instagram or Facebook passwords. We use Instagram-related information only for the features you enable in DirectSood and in accordance with the permissions granted through Meta. You can remove DirectSood's access through your Meta or Instagram settings.
5. AI-assisted features
When AI assistance is enabled, relevant business information and conversation context may be processed to generate a suggested or automated response. Businesses control the information they provide, the rules they configure, and when team members take over a conversation. AI output should be reviewed when human judgment is appropriate.
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may use trusted infrastructure and AI service providers solely to operate DirectSood, subject to appropriate contractual and security controls. We may disclose information where required by law or when necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of DirectSood, our users, or others.
7. Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your choices and data deletion
You can request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your DirectSood workspace by contacting us. You can also disconnect an Instagram account from DirectSood. For detailed instructions, visit our Data Deletion page.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as DirectSood evolves. We will post the revised version on this page and update the date above.
